Electronic Prescribing and Prescription Pads

Oklahoma Statute Title 63 Section 2-309 requires all providers to utilize electronic prescribing for all controlled dangerous substances in Schedules II, III, IV, and V, effective January 1, 2020. 

Exception: the electronic prescribing requirement provided for in 63 O.S. 3-309 does not apply to prescriptions for controlled substances prescribed by any practitioner listed in 63 O.S. 2-309(A)(5) and under the circumstances provided for in 63 O.S. 2-309 (A)(6).
